Dear Colleague:

We are sure you are aware of the important role that the National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners (NCBMP) plays in rebuilding the economy. Through our Educational Assistance Program for high school and college students, our Community Outreach Program and our Annual Educational Conferences we are working diligently to help secure the future of the meetings and hospitality industry. This important work is supported largely by the contributions of generous donors who donate to our annual scholarship fund, and/or attend the organization's spring, and fall conferences.

Due to the current economic crisis, this year's fundraising goal is in serious jeopardy. Therefore, we have established the NCBMP Capital Campaign which will help the organization to continue providing much needed services to the NCBMP membership, future hospitality professionals and to those in our communities who are in need of assistance. Without the continued support of generous donors like you, these needs will likely go unmet.

In order to continue making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by the work of NCBMP, it is vital for this year's Capital Campaign to be a success. Can we count on you to make a donation to this important cause? By making a tax deductible donation to the NCBMP Capital Campaign, you will be directly contributing to helping college students continue their educational endeavors, providing educational and networking opportunities for NCBMP members and enhancing the living conditions of those in our individual communities. Additionally, you will be recognized for your generosity as a capital campaign supporter on the NCBMP website and in the newsletter.

The National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners is depending on your assistance and generosity. Please visit to pledge your support, or click on the Donate button below. Please be assured that your contribution will be put to good use to help ensure the future of the meetings and hospitality industry. Thank you for your consideration and continued support.

Warmest Regards,

Monica L. Robinson
